Kaduna state House of assembly has conducted a public hearing on a bill for a law for responsible and inclusive land based investment law 2021.
Civil society groups, Traditional rulers and genersl public attended and presented their submissions before the house ad hoc committee on bills.
Most of them described the bill as timely and urged the state government to improve on security for local and foreign investment.
Chairman of the committee Alhaji Muktar isa Hazo said the essence of the hearing was to samples opinions of people on the bill.
According to him the objective of the bill was to establish procedures, processes and organizational arrangements to govern large scale agribusiness investment in the state.
