Jigawa state local government service commission says it has launched the payment of in-service allowance worth fifteen million naira to 62 staff studying at various institutions in the country.

The chairman of the commission, Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim made this known at the launching of the payment at the commission’s headquarters.

Uba Bala Ringim who was represented by the permanent commissioner one, Alhaji Salisu Muazu Kanya said the payment of the in-service allowance was part of the state government gesture to boost the morale of the students.

He therefore charged the beneficiaries to make good use of the fund meant for their study.

Some of the beneficiaries from Babura, Ringim and Jahun local government areas who spoke to Radio Nigeria commended the state government as well as the commission for the gesture.

They also promised to justify the confidence reposed on them.
