Coalition of Lapai youths in Niger state have called for the cancellation of just concluded All Progressives Congress APC local government congress conducted in the area.
Leader of the Group Comrade Ibrahim Nuhu Muye made the call while addressing Newsmen in Minna on imposition of Chairnanship candidate for Lapai local government council by some self centered stakeholders.
Comrade Ibrahim Nuhu Muye advocated for the conduct of a fresh election for the position of chairman of the party in Lapai to enable APC party wax stronger.
He however alleged that the election was marred by irregularities and intimidation of voters by some security agencies at congress venue that led to the arrest of a youth by police.
He appealed to Niger state Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello and National headquarters of APC to investigate the matter with a view to sanitising the system.
Comrade Ibrahim Nuhu Muye also lamented that article twelve sub section thirteen of APC constitution for the composition of councils executive committee has been breached.
It also would wants Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state to intervene on the matter to save the APC from eminent collapse.
