The All Progressive Congress APC local government congress exercise was conducted smoothly in all the 27 local government areas of Jigawa state.
Radio Nigeria reports that the newly elected local governments party executives emerged through consensus and affirmation.
The State Secretary of the APC local Congress Committee, Alhaji Haruna Musa expressed his appreciation on the outcome of the congress at all the 27 local government areas of the state.
Alhaji Haruna who was deployed to the state by the APC national headquarter commended the party members in Jigawa state for exhibiting high sense of maturity and patriotism during the conduct of the congress.
He however described, the success of the congress as a step forward towards APC overwhelming victory in the 2023 general election.
Our Correspondent reports that, there was no report for violence or alleged irregularities during the congress at all the 27 local governments area of the state.
