Independent Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) on Tuesday commended the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), for engaging stakeholders with marketers in a bid to foster a strong working relationship.

The IPMAN chairman, Kano state branch, Alhaji Bashir Ahmad Danmallam made the commendation while briefing newsmen shortly after a meeting with members of the association in Kano.

Alhaji Bashir Ahmad lauded the Director and Chief Executive of DPR Engr. Sarki for introducing innovations such as digitisation and automation geared towards ensuring ease of doing business.

He also commended the Department for relocating its headquarters to Abuja and for commitment towards building a befitting head office.

According to him, IPMAN on its part will continue to partner with the Department to ensure adequate fuel distribution as well as its availability at all times across the country.

The Chairman assured that the Association would continue to support DPR under the leadership of Engr. Sarki Auwalu in terms of steady supply and distribution of Petroleum products not only in Kano zone but across the country.
