Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has announced the nomination of Mr. Jerry Adams as his running mate for next year’s Governorship election.

 

 

In a statement by the Commissioner of Information and Culture, Ahmed Maiyaki says the decision followed wide consultations, deep reflection and prayers, describing it as a reaffirmation of his administration’s commitment to inclusion, justice, fairness and equity.

 

The statement notes that Kaduna State’s diversity of faiths, ethnicities and cultures remains its greatest strength, stressing that his administration has consistently promoted peaceful coexistence and inclusive governance since assuming office.

 

 

The statement describes Mr. Jerry Adams as an accomplished public servant, tax administrator and institution builder whose leadership at the State Internal Revenue Service has strengthened the state’s revenue base through innovation, transparency and professionalism.

 

 

It explains that the nominee’s integrity, humility and commitment to peace and inclusive governance make him well-suited to support the administration’s vision of building a more united, secure and prosperous Kaduna State.

 

 

The statement called on the people of Kaduna State to embrace the nomination in the spirit of unity and shared progress, urging them to look beyond religious, ethnic and geographical differences in pursuit of a common future.
