The Chairman of Tarauni LGA Kano State, Ahmed Sekure, has pledged to intensify efforts to address the problem of soil erosion threatening cemeteries across the local government.

 

Ahmed made the pledge while speaking on the successful completion of a perimeter fencing project at the cemetery in Allu Village Ward.

 

He said the project was undertaken to protect the cemetery from the devastating effects of erosion, improve security, and preserve the sanctity of the burial ground.

 

The chairman assured residents that the local government would continue to prioritize projects that safeguard lives and property, while implementing sustainable measures to tackle erosion affecting other cemeteries across Tarauni LGA.

 

He also appealed to residents to continue supporting and cooperating with the local government to ensure the successful implementation of development projects aimed at improving the well-being of communities.

 

The Director of Personnel Management of Tarauni and Chairman of the Forum of Directors of Personnel Management of the 44 LGA’s in Kano , Tijjani Madaki commended the chairman for his commitment to executing people-oriented projects and improving the welfare of residents.
