The Director-General of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo, has commiserated with Governor Umar Namadi and the Amirul Hajj, the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi, over the death of the Officer in Charge of the Maigatari Zone, the late Alhaji Nasiru Alhassan.
In a condolence message made available to Radio Nigeria’s correspondent in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, the Director-General said he was deeply saddened by the passing of the zonal officer and joined the deceased’s family, friends and associates in mourning the loss.
While extending his heartfelt condolences over the unfortunate incident, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family, relatives and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He said, Nasiru Alhassan Muhammad lived a life of service to humanity, a dedicated public servant and a brilliant officer who died while assisting pilgrims both in nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
According to Ahmed Umar Labbo, Late Nasiru’s death is a great loss to Jigawa, not only his family, friends and associates.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased eternal rest and grant him the highest place in Paradise.
