The second batch of 556 intending pilgrims from Kwara state have departed Ilorin aboard another MaxAir flight at about 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.

With the successful airlift of the two batches, a total of 930 intending pilgrims from Kwara State had so far been transported to Saudi Arabia for this year’s pilgrimage.

The Chairman of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Mashood Mahmud- Jimba, expressed satisfaction with the smooth coordination of the exercise.

He assured that adequate arrangements have been put in place for the airlift of the remaining pilgrims without delay.

Meanwhile The first batch of the intending pilgrims from Kwara State had safely arrived in Medina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
