The member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr. Daniel Amos, has officially declared his intention to seek a second term in office.

Amos made the declaration in Kafanchan, expressing gratitude to God and the people of the constituency for the mandate given to him in his first term.

He said his initial election was based on the people’s demand for a new style of representation focused on listening, action, and tangible results.

According to him, his tenure has prioritized people-oriented policies, including empowerment initiatives through business support and interventions in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

The lawmaker noted that the impact of his representation is reflected in improved livelihoods among constituents, particularly women and youths.

He stated that many women have been able to sustain their families through small-scale businesses, while some youths have transitioned from unemployment to becoming self-reliant and employers of labour.

Describing his second-term ambition as a move toward consolidation, Amos said his focus would be on expanding ongoing initiatives, addressing existing gaps, and ensuring that all wards in the constituency benefit from government interventions.

He also pledged to strengthen legislative efforts, attract more developmental projects, deepen empowerment programmes, and promote lasting peace across Jema’a/Sanga.

While acknowledging that he is not perfect, Amos assured constituents of his continued commitment to accountability, accessibility, and effective service delivery.

He emphasized that he would not betray the trust reposed in him.

The lawmaker called on the people of Jema’a/Sanga to support his re-election bid, urging them to join him in building on the progress made and advancing the development of the constituency.
