Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The stakeholders, in collaboration with party leaders in the area, said the renewed alliance is aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and securing victory for the APC in the polls.
They also supported equitable political zoning across the three major zones of Kauru Local Government, namely Kumana Chiefdom, Chawai Chiefdom and Kauru Emirate, stressing the importance of fairness, justice and balanced representation.
According to the Stakeholders, the zoning arrangement is designed to ensure inclusiveness and foster unity among communities within the local government.
The statement issued by the Kauru LG Chairman Bashir Tanko Dawaki through his Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs Yahaya Sa’ad (Danruwatan Kauru), said stakeholders are steadfast in their support for Governor Uba Sani’s administration and committed to promoting good governance across the state.
The stakeholders further advocated greater gender inclusion, calling for increased participation of women and youth in leadership and decision-making processes.
They noted that the push aligns with the inclusive governance approach of Governor Uba Sani, which prioritises fairness and equal opportunity.
The meeting was attended by aspirants to the Kaduna State House of Assembly from Chawai Chiefdom, as well as a House of Representatives aspirant from Kauru Emirate.
Participants described the gathering as a demonstration of unity and shared commitment to the success of the APC in the 2027 elections.
They reaffirmed their resolve to support the administration of Governor Uba Sani and promote good governance across the state.
The stakeholders expressed confidence that unity across Kumana Chiefdom, Chawai Chiefdom and Kauru Emirate would deliver victory for APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
