The Zamfara State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Sanusi Abdullahi Sarkin Dajin Anka, has commended Governor Dauda Lawal for approving a comprehensive education reform aimed at enhancing the welfare, productivity, and overall effectiveness of teachers across the state.

The commendation was contained in a statement signed by the Union’s Publicity Secretary, Comrade Mustapha Kabiru Tsafe, and made available to journalists in Gusau.

According to the statement, the union described the reform as a timely and strategic intervention that will not only boost teachers’ morale but also reposition the education sector for improved service delivery and better learning outcomes.

Comrade Sarkin Dajin Anka expressed optimism that the measures taken by the overseeing Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology would significantly uplift the standard of education in Zamfara State.

He noted that improving teachers’ welfare remains a critical factor in achieving sustainable educational development.

The NUT further assured the state government of its continued support and cooperation in ensuring the successful implementation of the reform policies, emphasizing that teachers remain committed to delivering quality education to students across the state.
