Kaduna state Government has urged this year’s batch A Stream II corp members to use their orientation course to become agents of positive change in their communities, states and the Nation at large.
Kaduna state Governor, Senator Uba Sani who stated this at the swearing in ceremony of the Corp Member at the temporary orientation camp, Government college Kaduna reiterated commitment to their security and welfare while urging them to build leadership capacity and inspire holistic personal growth.
Senator Uba Sani advised them to participate actively in the camp Skills Acquisition and Development programme to acquire marketable skills to become self reliant and ultimately create employment opportunities for others.
He implore them to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly to the appropriate Authority.
Also speaking at the event, NYSC State coordinator, Mrs Efeke Murna Dadaza who said the Corp Members demonstrated and discipline throughout the registration process, affirmed that their service year will be successful and result oriented.
She urged them to study the NYSC orientation, Bye-law and the Orientation guide given to them, to deepen their understanding of the Scheme, their Rights and their responsibilities.
A total of 2,316 Corp Members were sworn in for this year’s batch A stream II Orientation Programme.
