The Wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shettima, has arrived in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, to distribute food items to vulnerable groups across the state.

Hajiya Nana Shettima is representing the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as part of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) Social Investment Programme.

She arrived alongside some wives of other state governors participating in the programme.

The Wife of the Zamfara State Governor, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal, along with other government officials, received the dignitaries.

Similarly, Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal and his Deputy Mani Malam Mummuni have arrived at the venue of the event where the Programme would take place.

No fewer than 600 vulnerable groups are expected to benefit from the distribution exercise, which includes food items such as rice, macaroni, Indomie noodles, and semovita, among others.
