Former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar retired has appealed to Muslims to put into practice what they have learned during the Ramadan to enhance their status.

The Former Head of State made the appeal after observing the two raka’ats prayer for Eid el fitr held at the Minna eid prayer ground, Niger State.

General Abdulsalami Abubakar would also wants them to continue to assist one another show love and kindness to the less privileged persons in line with the teachings of Allah.

In his remarks Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago who congratulated Muslims for the successful completion of Ramadan fast, also charged youths in the state to be orderly and desist from any act capable of destrupting the celebration of Eid el fitr.

Represented by his Deputy Comrade Yakubu Garba, said the Governor is in town and will later be at the Palace of Emir of Minna Dr Umar Faruk Bahago to grace the durbar.

Also speaking former Niger State Governor Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu reminded the Muslim faithfuls that out of the five pillars of Islam it was only fasting that Allah said was his own, and will reward each person that engaged in it accordingly.

Hẹ however implored Muslims to give out the Zakatil fitr to the needy to enable them have something tọ feed their family on the sallah day.
