The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command, has deployed 643 personnel across the state to ensure the safety of lives and property during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
The State Commandant, Sani Mustapha, approved the deployment as part of proactive measures to maintain peace and order throughout the festive period.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the command, ASCI Umar Mohammad, on behalf of the State Commandant.
According to the statement, the Personnel have been strategically deployed to various Eid prayer grounds across the 14 Local Government Areas of the state to provide security before, during and after the celebrations.
The statement urged the deployed personnel to demonstrate professionalism, discipline and commitment while carrying out their duties to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free celebration.
Commandant Mustapha also reaffirmed the commitment of the corps under the leadership of the Commandant-General, Professor Ahmed Abubakar Audi to effectively discharge its mandate of protecting critical national assets and maintaining public safety.
He assured residents of Zamfara State that the command would continue to work tirelessly to sustain security across the state before, during and after the Eid-el-Fitr festivities.
