Residents of Harmony Estate in Kwara state have been urged to redoubled efforts in the repayment and their housing Mortgage loan to enable others benefit.

The Manager Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) Kwara state branch,Alhaji Nurudeen Aliyu Muhammed made the call in his message at the Inauguration of committee members of Harmony Estate Residents ,held in Ilorin.

He said most of the inhabitants of the estate have not met the requirements to own the houses.

According to him the bank has tried for leaving the tenants for a long time without payment.

Nurudern urged the residents to do the needful to avoid being evicted.

The Manager  explained that the bank will soon commenced the building of a new set of estate to be sold at the rate of 25 million naira each .

Alhaji Nuruddeen Aliyu stressed that a new security measures would be introduced to ensure safety and security in the community.

Inauguration of the committee,the Chairman of the Harmony Estate Residents , Ilorin , Mr Otepola Adeolu advised members of the committee to attend their meetings promptly.

Mr.Otepola maintained that  the idea of the initiative is to enable them have first hand information on issues concerning their members.

The Chairman advised residents of the estate to ensure adequate payments of their monthly dues and utility bills.

He call for the cooperation of all members to ensure successful execution of their assignment in the new year.
