Kaduna State Police Command in synergy with the Military, Department of State Services, DSS, and other security operatives has launched a comprehensive operation within Makarfi, Hunkuyi, and Ikara Local Government Areas.

 

The operation is part of renewed and intensified effort to combat insurgents, bandits and other criminal elements across the state and its environs.

 

In a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP. Mansir Hassan, the commissioner, CP. Rabiu Mohammad says the operation is strategically designed to flush out criminal hideouts, dismantle illegal camps and restore absolute peace and stability in all the the affected areas.

 

It explains that, the operation was in compliance with the marching orders of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, directing all Commands to intensify efforts toward eliminating crime and criminality in their jurisdictions.

 

The Commissioner assures the public that these operations will be continuous, with all security agencies maintaining close collaboration to ensure a crime-free environment.

 

He adds that, the Command remains firmly committed to sustaining the peaceful atmosphere currently being enjoyed across the state.
