Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on citizens to work together to ensure food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices across the country.

In her message to mark World Food Day 2025, themed “Hand in Hand for Better Foods and a Better Future,” the First Lady emphasized that achieving a future free from hunger and malnutrition requires collective effort and strong partnerships.

She noted that transforming Nigeria’s food systems will depend on promoting sustainable farming, reducing food waste, and ensuring that every family has access to nutritious and affordable food.

Senator Tinubu urged Nigerians to “join hands to build a nation where everyone is involved in the process of food production for a better, healthier, and more prosperous future for all.”

She wished Nigerians a happy World Food Day and reaffirmed her commitment to initiatives that enhance food security and improve the nation’s well-being.
