Kwara state Ministry of Youth Development in collaboration with Brain Builders Initiative are to train youths on the effective use of Artificial Intelligence to build a productive, self-reliant, and tech-driven youth population.
Speaking when the team visited the Ministry in Ilorin,the state Commissioner for Youth Development,Ndanusa Shehu , described the move as timely and transformational.
According to him Artificial Intelligence is a way of shaping the future of work globally and emphasized the importance of exposing the youths to such innovation.
He explained that the state government has continued to demonstrate a clear vision for youth empowerment, from creating opportunities in the digital economy to investing in skills and entrepreneurship.
For his part the Brain Builders, Communications Director, Sanni Alausa-Issa said the Initiative is committed to promoting good governance,civic engagement and youth development through education and digital literacy.
