President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Kano-born Politician and Presidential Adviser, Senator Basheer Lado, on the occasion of his birthday, October 16.

In a statement, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the President described Senator Lado as a dedicated Public Servant whose Contributions to National development continue to stand out.

He noted that Senator Lado has served Nigeria diligently in various capacities, including as Federal Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and as Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

According to Onanuga, the President also acknowledged Senator Lado’s current role as Special Adviser on Senate Matters, where he continues to foster harmony between the Executive and the Legislature while advancing the administration’s legislative agenda with diplomacy, wisdom, and respect.

President Tinubu prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the former lawmaker good health, wisdom, and many more years of fruitful service to the nation.
