The Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Jigawa State Council, Aisha Ahmed, has stepped down from her position.

In a letter addressed to the Council Chairman, Ahmed said her resignation was due to the demands of her professional duties and the need to focus on her health condition.

She thanked the Union for the privilege of service and reaffirmed her commitment to the progress of NUJ in the state.

The letter was also copied to the Zonal Secretary and Vice President of Zone A.
