In preparation for the forthcoming Kaura Namoda South State Assembly bye-election, the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, has paid a crucial security assessment visit to Kaura Namoda Local Government Area.
During the visit, CP Maikaba held a meeting with all sister security agencies and community stakeholders in the area to deliberate on prevailing security challenges and chart ways forward to ensure the smooth conduct of the poll.
The Commissioner reaffirmed the Command’s total commitment to restoring and sustaining peace, not only in Kaura Namoda but across the state.
He assured residents of the Command’s readiness to provide adequate security before, during, and after the bye-election.
CP Maikaba further called for the continued support and cooperation of community leaders and residents in the fight against all forms of criminality.
He stressed that the Command remains resolute in its efforts to guarantee a peaceful and secure environment for all citizens.
