Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed shock over the death of its former Chairman and former Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Innocent Ogbeh, at the age of 78.

In a condolence message, the National Publicity Secretary, Professor Tukur Muhammad Baba, described the late Audu Ogbeh as a great nationalist, accomplished farmer, and committed son of the Northern geopolitical zone.

The statement notes that the deceased who served as Chairman of ACF was also Chairman Advisory Committee working to accelerate Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of the ACF later this year.

The Forum condoles the Federal Government, people and Government of Benue State over the death and prays God grants the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

In a recent media interview, the former Minister had expressed concern over socio-economic challenges of the Country caused by some unfavourable policies imposed by foreign powers.
