The Federal Government has been advised to adopt measures that will preserve the nation’s foreign reserves for emergency situations.

A security analyst, Retired Major Bashir Galma, gave the advice in response to reports that funds for the Twenty-Five (25) have not been released for socio-economic development, a situation affecting both workers and prisoners.

Retired Major Bashir Galma suggested ban on imports of luxury products, including vehicles for public officials to ensure effective execution of projects.

He expressed concern over alleged involvement of mercenaries to escalate insecurity in the country for ulterior motives.

Retired Major Bashir Galma who described the presidential system of government as expensive, advised politicians to demonstrate patriotism and fear of God to address various challenges of the country.
