Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board has officially announced the final fare for the 2027 Hajj, setting the cost at ₦7,672,822 per pilgrim.
The Director-General of the board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo, disclosed this to journalists in Dutse.
He explained that, prospective pilgrims who have already deposited the initial sum of 7.5 million naira are required to pay an outstanding balance of 172,822 naira to complete their registration.
Labbo emphasized that the deadline for all payments in Jigawa State is September 18th 2026.
He called on all Zonal Officers to ensure pilgrims complete their payments promptly before the deadline.
The DG further directed the officers to activate more on sensitization efforts to meet the September 26th deadline set aside by NAHCON.
The Pilgrims Boss thanked the management staff as well as officers for their cooperation and expressed gratitude to Governor Umar Namadi for his support in providing loan for the 2027 Hajj seats.
