Association of Heads of federal establishments operating in Zamfara State have expressed readiness to deepen collaboration with the state government to ensure more efficient service delivery and overall development of the state.

The Chairman of the Association who is also the Chief Medical Director Federal Medical Centre Gusau, Dr Bello Muhammad Alhaji stated this when he led the association on a courtesy visit Zamfara State Head of Service Alhaji Yakubu Haidara in his Office in Gusau.

Alhaji Bello Alhaji said the association had proposed several areas for partnership, including capacity Building through training programs and workshops aimed at improving the skills and efficiency of civil servants.

“Inter-Agency Coordination: Creating joint platforms and committees to enhance communication, avoid duplication of efforts, and ensure seamless service delivery. Policy Alignment: Exploring areas where federal and state policies can be harmonized for greater impact in sectors such as agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure”

According to Alhaji, community Engagement is slso key to foster stronger relationships with communities across the state as well as security and Social Harmony by Supporting government efforts to promote peace, security, and socio-economic development.

The delegation reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the state government, offering its expertise and institutional support to improve governance and public service delivery in Zamfara.

The Association Chairman also commended the Head of Service for his track record of commitment and excellence, noting that his appointment was a well-deserved recognition of his years of dedicated service to the state.

“We are here to formally congratulate you on your appointment as the Head of Service of Zamfara State. Your commitment to public service and progress is widely acknowledged. We believe that your tenure will usher in a new era of efficiency and innovation in the civil service,”

“We, as heads of federal agencies operating within Zamfara, share a common interest with your office in the well-being of the people. We believe collaboration in key areas will accelerate progress,” the chairman added.

Responding, Zamfara State Head of Service, Alhaji Yakubu Haidara who welcomed the delegation, commended their commitment to supporting the state’s development initiatives.

According to him, the state government is open to meaningful collaboration, especially in areas that align with it core mandate especially training and capacity building for civil servants.

He assured them that their proposals would be critically examined and forwarded to the state governor for consideration.

He also encouraged the association to extend a similar courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government to further strengthen partnerships.

The meeting ended on a hopeful note, with both parties pledging continued engagement, open communication, and mutual support to uplift the lives of Zamfara residents.
