The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Local Government Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs Alhaji Aminu Mu’azu Maifata has advised the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Chieftaincy Affairs Abdullahi Ibrahim Hassan to work towards strengthening the traditional institution in the State.
The Commissioner gave the advice when he received the governor’s aide when he resumed office at the ministry’s headquarters in lafia, the state capital.
“Governor Abdullahi Sule had recently appointed Abdullahi Ibrahim Hassan, Adon Garin Lafia as his Senior Special Assistant on Chieftaincy Affairs aimed at improving governance in the state.
Alhaji Aminu Mu’azu Maifata charged Ibrahim Abdullahi Hassan use his wealth of experience to bring to bare for the development of the nasarawa state.
The Commissioners for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs who lauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for appointing Abdullahi Ibrahim Hassan as his SSA on Chieftaincy Affairs, urged the governor’s aide to justify the confidence reposed in him.
explained that the appointment of Adon Garin Lafia is a round peg in a round hole.
He used the occasion to re-assure Governor Abdullahi Sule’s commitment to improving the livelihoods of the people across the state.
Earlier, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, Abdullahi Ibrahim Hassan appreciated the governor for finding him worthy of the appointment.
He promised to deliver on the mandates bestowed on him and pledged his unalloyed support to the Commissioner to achieve the success.
