An early morning fire has destroyed 18 offices at Northwest University Kano.
The blaze, which originated on the eighth floor, affected seven offices and one corridor, while eleven adjacent offices sustained minor damage.

speaking on behalf of the public relations officer, SFS Kabiru Isah Jaafar, explained that the Kano State Fire Service responded to an emergency call from Mannir Abdullahi, who reported that the nine-story administrative building of Northwest University was engulfed in flames.
Kabiru noted that firefighters from various stations within the metropolitan area were quickly mobilized to the scene.
He noted that on arrival, they found that the fire had severely damaged multiple offices and one corridor.
He however stressed that no casualties were reported during the unfortunate incident .

Kabiru pointed out that, the Kano State Fire Service, under the leadership of Director DFS Alh Sani Anas, responded promptly and effectively to contain the situation, preventing further damage and potential loss of life.
He urged the public to maintain safety at all times and report cases of drowning, accidents or fire outbreaks to the nearest fire service office.
