The Nasarawa State Government has tasked this year’s Christian intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state and pray for peace, unity, and development.
Governor Abdullahi Sule made this known during farewell to 162 pilgrims prepared to embark on their spiritual journey to Israel.

The governor emphasized the importance of good moral conduct during their trip, noting that they were chosen from among many applicants.
He re-assured the pilgrims of the state government’s commitment to their welfare, providing free accommodations and food throughout their journey.
The Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, Mr. Davide Ayiwa, who commended the state government for renovating the board’s office charged the pilgrims for their good conduct and urged them to sustain the tempo.
The event was attended by the Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, State Chief Judge, Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu, Commissioner for Information and other Commissioners, Secretary to the State Government, Labaran Shu’iabu Magaji and the State Accountant General.
