Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state is being honoured by a coalition of over 6,000 newly employed youth at a special dinner held in his recognition at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Dutse.
The coalition, comprising J-Teach, J-Agro, J-Health, hand pump parts dealers known as J-Millionaires, and newly recruited young medical doctors, presented the governor with individual award plaques.
Radio Nigeria reports that these honors were in appreciation of his exceptional efforts in youth employment and empowerment across Jigawa State, including the recruitment of young professionals into various sectors.

Expressing his gratitude, Governor Namadi acknowledged the youth’s recognition, stating that the honour was not for him alone but for all citizens of the state.
He commended the youth for their dedication to building their careers and contributing to the development of their communities through their work.
“The youth have demonstrated a strong commitment to securing a better future for Jigawa. With this calibre of patriotic and hardworking individuals, the state is on the path to greater heights,” he said.

He further urged the youth to remain steadfast in their efforts to uplift the state, emphasizing that the responsibility of development lies in the hands of its bona fide citizens.
Governor Namadi reiterated his administration’s commitment to providing continuous support and opportunities for youth empowerment in order to secure a brighter and more prosperous future for Jigawa State.
