The House of Representatives has expressed satisfaction and confidence that the current administration, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will lead the country to the promised land.
A member representing Bindawa and Mani Federal Constituency in Katsina State, Ahmad Yusuf Doro, made this assertion while commenting on recent developments in which President Bola Ahmed Tinubu proposed additional funds in the 2025 budget estimate, increasing the total provision to over ₦54 trillion instead of the earlier proposed ₦49 trillion.
The lawmaker believed that an increase of capitalization of one point five trillion naira to the Bank of Agriculture would surely boost the agricultural sector to attained the objective of Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda of revamping the agricultural activities in Nigeria especially in the North.
Ahmad Doro also said that the budgetary provision intervention by the Bank of Industry would significantly boost small and medium-scale businesses, thereby helping Nigerians, especially the downtrodden, to find relief from the difficulties caused by subsidy removal.
Also the proposed allocation of one trillion naira to the mining sector will help in revitalizing economic activities, which, in turn, will contribute to the overall growth of the economy as expected.
Hon. Ahmad Doro advised Nigerians to support government policies and initiatives for the betterment of the nation.
He urged everyone to exercise patience, as both the federal and state governments are making their best efforts to ensure the delivery of the dividends of democracy across the country.
He emphasised that Government alone cannot handle every aspect of our socio economic development untill Citizens play their supportive role for the Government to be able to handle challenges and succeed in its derive to move the country forward.
The lawmaker however advised Nigerians especially politicians to play the game in accordance with the rules and regulations the game for the development of our political system that makes the system to a be more beneficial where citizens reap the dividends of democracy as it is in other developed Nations.
