The Commander Infantry Corps of the Nigerian Army, Major General Abdul Khalifah Ibrahim has tasked all infantry officers, soldiers and units to distinguish themselves wherever they maybe deployed, by being professional and taking the fight to the enemy enclaves.

In a statement by the Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Infantry Corps Center, Captain Olusegun Abidoye says the Commander gave the charge at a send forth ceremony organised for senior redeployed officers, held at headquarters of the Infantry Corps Center, Jaji Military Cantonment, Kaduna State.

         Major General Abdul Khalifah Ibrahim pledged a paradigm shift in the Infantry to make it mission oriented, more cohesive and efficient.

He encouraged Infantry officers to look forward to serving in Jaji, either in the corps headquarters, Nigerian Army School of Infantry-NASI, or other Infantry units in Jaji Military Cantonment, stressing that Jaji is the home of the Infantry.

The Infantry Corps Commander acknowledged the contributions of the recently posted out senior officers, and wished them well in their next assignments.

   Speaking on behalf of the posted out officers, Brigadier General Bello appreciated the Chief of Army Staff for the confidence reposed on them, and pledged to deliver on their new assignments.

He pledged their loyalty to the corps and the Nigerian Army, vowing to always identify with the corps.

The six redeployed senior officers are posted as Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, and Garrison Commanders, among others.
