Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar has declared today, Friday 7th of June 2024 as the first day of  Dhul Hijjah

This was made known in a statement signed by the chairman advisory Committee on Religious affairs Sultanate Council, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu

He explained that Sunday the 16th of June 2024, equivalent to Islamic calendar 10th of Dhul Hijjah shall be this year’s Eid il Kabir .
