President Bola Tinubu departed from Lagos to Abuja, where he was scheduled to commission various projects executed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.

President Tinubu left the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:25 AM. He was seen off by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other government officials.

During his time in Lagos, the President officially flagged off the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the Victoria Island end of the 700-kilometre project, which is expected to have a significant impact on economic and rural community development.

Additionally, President Tinubu commissioned the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway, the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, and virtually commissioned the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across the country.

In Abuja, the President will be commissioning the southern Parkway from Christian Centre to Ring Road One, among other projects.
