The Federal Government, in conjunction with Idea Lab Organisation, has reassured Nigerians that the current administration’s initiative to lift fifty million Nigerians out of poverty will become a reality.

The Idea Lab Agency, in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, Central Bank of Nigeria, and other government agencies, is determined to ensure that this noble objective of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu is achievable before 2027.

The National Coordinator of Idea Lab Organisation, Mr. Rex Emmanuel, stated this while briefing newsmen on the operations of the organisation’s developmental programmes.

Mr. Rex said Idea Lab, in collaboration with the Bank of Industry, Central Bank of Nigeria, and World Bank, was mobilizing citizens to learn how to access grants and loans worldwide for economic development through small and medium-scale enterprises.

He explained that the Federal Government was partnering with some financial institutions as veritable platforms for the release of all grants and loans to Nigerians who were interested in the digital economy and creative enterprise.

Mr. Rex further explained that the Federal Government created this system to benefit small and medium-scale enterprises in accessing such loans.

The National coordinator believed that this would help to lift fifty million Nigerians out of poverty in line with the Federal Government’s policy objective

According to the National coordinator, the idea Lab is empowered through the Bank of Industry by the Federal Government to train , prepare and recruit agents and beneficiaries for local and international jobs , export talents and commodities by also providing access to grants , loans , employment, scholarship etc .

He said the Central Bank and other commercial banks were involved because the program involves money, and people can access loans through the Rex agents, as well as scholarship aids and other technological initiatives.

Mr Rex added that the Federal Government created many technology agents for MSEs, saying the arrangement is that Idea Lab has the responsibility to gather such information and inform the general public accordingly.
