Jigawa State Government says it will award contract for the reconstruction of road from Kiyawa to Birnin kudu.
Governor Umar Namadi disclosed this during an inspection visit to the site.
He expressed dismay over the delay of the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction works of culverts along the road which was awarded last year.
Malam Umar Namadi therefore, called on the contractor handling the project to expedite action and complete the work as scheduled.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the Governor also paid unscheduled inspection visit to the ongoing construction of Shuwarin, Wurma, Abaya and Chamo to Isari road project.
He also visited Shuwarin Yamma primary school and Basic Healthcare center whre he interacted with the teachers and Health workers on how to ensure the quality of service delivery.
