Hajj 2024:- Kwara Intending Pilgrims To Depart 20th May

Kwara state Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board has commenced preparations for the airlifting of intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj schedule to begin on 20th may .

Speaking at the Flagg -off of the enlightenment campaign and special prayer led by the Chief Imam of Ilorn,Sheikh Mohammed Bashir Solihu I. Illorin .

The Grand Khadi of Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal, Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen admonished all intending pilgrims to be of good conduct while in the holy land.

He urged the intending pilgrims to renew their faith, do away with sins and embrace good virtues .

In a remark the State Amirul Hajj, Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe said aside from renovation of the hajj camp, efforts are on by government to ensure direct flights from Kwara to Saudi Arabia.

He assured the intending Pilgrims of quality service and good welfare during the exercise.

In an address the Chairman of the board, Professor Mashood Mahmood Jimba urged the Intending pilgrims to have faith in the board.

He assured them of an improved communication during the exercise.

On his part the Executive Secretary, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir revealed that the visa for the first batch of intending pilgrims are already on ground.

He noted that the board planned to have ten flights scheduled to convey all intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.

Officials present at the programme to educate the intending Pilgrims on travel guides included the Nigeria Immigration Service, National Drug Law ,Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) among others.
