Commissioner of Police, Kwara Command, Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi ,-by-ALI MUHAMMAD RABIU

The First Female Commissioner of Police posted to Kwara State Command, Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi, has assumed duty.

In a statement, spokesman of the command, SP, Okasannmi Ajayi said the new Commissioner of Police took over the mantle of leadership of the command from the outgoing Commissioner of Police, who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Paul Odama.

According to the statement, Commissioner of Police Ebunoluwarotimi Adelesi hails from Sagamu, in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

She was enlisted to the Nigeria Police Force on March 3, 1990, as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.

She has worked in various Police commands and formations within and outside the country, where she held several Command positions at different times.
