Kauru Emirate Council in Kaduna State has urged Governor Uba Sani to expedite action towards completing the ongoing Pambegua – Kauru and the 10km Township roads rehabilitation which remains in shambles for years.

The Emir Alhaji Zakari Ya’u Usman who stated this at his Palace while delivering this year’s Eid-el-Kabir message said the roads when completed would boost the economy of the people and commuters in the area.

Alhaji Zakari Ya’u also plead with Government to extend the road construction from Kauru to Mariri in Lere LGA which is linked to many villages to help farmers evacuate their farm produce with ease.

He encouraged people and farmers in his domain to shun being enticed to sell their produce because of high returns and be left with nothing as the trends lead to starvation within their immediate family and the community at large.

On insecurity, the Emir expressed worries over the resurfacing of kidnapping and banditry which now shifted to the traditional title holders, while calling on the security personnel, title holders, and people to work towards mitigating the menace.

Finally, the Emir of Kauru emphasized the harmonious coexistence among people and ethnic groups, avoiding the hearsay and taking laws into the hands as the causes of crisis and disharmony.
