The last batch of one hundred and ninety (190 ) intending pilgrims from Kwara state have been airlifted to Saudi Arabia to perform year 2023 Holly pilgrimage.

Addressing the intending pilgrims at the Ilorin International Airport ,the executive secretary,Kwara State Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board,Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam advised them to be good ambassador of the state .

He urged them to use the period to pray for peace ,Unity and development in the country .

In his remark the Year 2023- Amirul Hajj for Kwara state ,the Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi, expressed satisfaction with the successfull completion of the airlifting of intending pilgrims.

He advised the airport authorities and airline operators to urgently resolve their differences and ensure the airlifting of intending pilgrims from ilorin international Airport resume.

Alhaji Ibrahim Bologi also urged the airline operator to have a schedule to ensure smooth operation.

He appealed to the intending pilgrims to remain law abiding while in the holly land .

In his comment the Manager Ilorin international Airport,Mr Ogini Olatayo said arrangements are on to ensure subsequent airlifting of intending pilgrims and their return journey will be through ilorin international Airport.

Three thousand five hundred and forty nine (3,549 )Intending pilgrims from Kwara state are expected to perform year 2023 Hajj – Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
