The Returning officer of the Kano Gubernatorial Elections Professor Ahmed Doko Ibrahim has declared the Candidate of the New Nigeria peoples Party Abba Kabir Yusif as the winner of the Kano Governorship Winner.

Abba Kabir Yusif Scored the highest votes of 1,019,602 , followed by Nasir Yusif Gawuna of APC with 890,705 votes.
