The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force, North East Operation HADIN KAI, Major General Ibrahim Ali has charged the Special Court Martial to remain professional in the discharge of its duties.

Major General Ali gave the charge during the inauguration of the Theatre Command Special Court Martial set up to try cases of alleged professional misconduct by troops of Operation Hadin Kai at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri, Borno State.

He enjoined members of the Court Martial to be dispassionate in the discharge of their assignment. 

The Theatre Commander further called on the court to give fair hearing to all in order to achieve justice, urging the court to speedily conduct and conclude the cases in line with global best practices.

Members and Court officials should know that the task ahead of them requires sacrifice, bearing in mind that they are required to do justice to the accused persons as well as to the system ” he stressed.

Major General Ibrahim Ali reiterated that justice would be done to the accused, the victims as well as to the state.

The event was attended by the Deputy Theatre Commander, Major General K Isoni, Component Commanders, Principal Staff Officers, members of the Court, prosecuting and defence Counsels, and accused personnel.
