The Kano State Fire Service, says fire had destroyed Properties Worth Millions of Naira at Singer Market,Some Shops and the Upper Building of Old Savannah Bank in Kano.

This was Contained in a Statement, by the Public Relations Officer of Kano State Fire Service ,Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.

According to him, the Agency received a distress call at 02:18a.m, from one Sai’du Hamza that there was fire outbreak at Singa market, Fagge Local government area.

Saminu Pointed out that, on receiving the Information, Personnel and fire fighting Vehicle to the scene were deployed to the Scene of the incident at about 02:22 a.m.

He stressed that, Several temporary Shops were completely razed by the fire, adding that the service was yet to ascertain the cause and total number of shops affected.

Radio Nigeria reports that, few weeks ago,two Popular Markets Kurmi and Rimi in Kano were also affected by Inferno, which led to the destruction of shops and properties worth millions of naira.
