Kaduna State : Labour Party Refutes Purported Alliance For Governorship Election

Kaduna state gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party Mr Jonathan Asake, says he has not step down nor formed any alliance with any political party for Saturday’s general election.

Mr Jonathan Asake who stated this during a press conference in Kaduna, called on all supporters of the party to disregard any form of rumours making the rounds.

He re-affirmed his party’s commitment to winning the gubernatorial election, explaining that all machineries have been put in place to protect the party’s mandate this coming Saturday.

“it has become pertinent to address this press conference due to the flying rumor on the social media which need to be addressed.

“I want to clarify that it is not true that I am in alliance or that I have step down,it is pure lies fabricated to undermine the labour Party and my candidature “,he said

The gubernatorial candidate stressed that the party and all its organ in the state is fully prepared for the March 11 election, having gone round to all the nook and crannies of the state to campaign vigorously.

“We have campaign, consulted, mobilized and gone to all the twenty three local government areas of the state,and have also gotten intouch with all the 812 wards; where our teaming supporters are also waiting to vote us alongside members of the state house of assembly”,he narrated.

Mr Jonathan Asake reiterated that the labour party in the state is on a mission to salvage the state from bad leadership, insecurity and insensitivity to the plight of the citizens.

He therefore called on the citizens of the state to continue to give the party all the needed support to succeed , in order to improve their economy and well being in the interest of growth and development.

The gubernatorial hopeful who explained that the youths are the backbone of any society, promised to have an all inclusive government where women and the youths will be given the highest priority.
