The President-elect of Nigeria, Senator Bola Tinubu, says the promises made to Nigerians will be fulfilled.

Senator Tinubu stated this in his acceptance speech after he was declared winner of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

“I am profoundly humbled to serve as the 16th President of our beloved country. This is a shining moment in the life of any man and an affirmation of our democratic existence”.

While appreciating all those who contributed in one way or the other to the victory of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu expressed commitment to the development of the country.

“I take this opportunity to appeal to my fellow contestants to let us team up together. It is the only nation we have. It is one country and we must build together”.

The President-elect said he would remain indebted to Nigerians, especially President Muhammadu Buhari, the Progressives Governors Forum, and the women’s organizations.

He said the victory was for every Nigerian and a serious mandate that he accepted to serve side by side with the opposition to make Nigeria a great country.

The President-elect also assured the youths that they would be a strong pillar of his administration and urged all hands to be on deck to realize the renewed hope for the country.
