The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, has lost his son, Alhaji Hassan Sule.

Alhaji Hassan died on Friday morning after a brief illness.

The member representing Lafia North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muhammed Alkali who confirmed his death, described it as a “shocking” development.

“I share my deep condolences with His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule, over the passing of his beloved son, Alhaji Hassan. I pray that Allah (SWT) grants him Aljanatul Firdaus and comfort his family” Alkali said.

The lawmaker said it is a colossal loss not only to Nasarawa State but the nation at large.
