The APC presidential running mate, Kashim Ibrahim Shettima says Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a bridge builder who is eager to form a government of National unity and progress for the socio-security and economic development of its citizenry.
Shettima stated this while speaking to newsmen shortly after paying homage to the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar in his palace.
He believed that, looking at the infrastructural and human capital developmental Projects and Programs executed by the APC ruling party in the country, Nigerians would compensate them through reelecting the APC Party for sustainable development in the country.
The two term governor of Borno state was optimistic that the APC would win the 2023 general election owing to its strength and acceptability among Nigerians.
According to him, his visit to Sokoto was not Political but to pay homage and seek blessings as well as prayers for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming elections in the country.
Kashim Shettima added that Sokoto being the seat of the Caliphate was historic and strategic to the development and entrenchment of qualitative leadership in Nigeria.
