The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has elevated Hisbah Board Headquarter’s mosque Sharada Kano, to first class juma’at mosque.
According to him, the upgrade of the mosque becomes necessary, to meet the yearnings and aspirations of residents, as well as the immense contributions of the Board, in promoting good and prohibiting bad behaviors.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero who was represented by madakin Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Nabahani used the opportunity to inform residents of Gandun Albasa, Sharada, Dan Agundi among others, that Friday prayers would commence on 20th January 2023 at 1pm.
Earlier in his remarks, the Commander General Kano state Hisbah Board, Sheikh Dr Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina, commended Kano emirate council for the kind gesture.
He highlighted that, Hisbah Headquarters Sharada Kano, witnessed increased turn out of people due to the establishment of a shari’a court within the premises.
Sheikh Ibn Sina noted that, the Board would make all the necessary modifications on the mosque, recommended by the emirate council, before the date of the formal launching.
The Commander General, applauded Kano state government for it’s tireless efforts and commitment, in uplifting Kano state Hisbah Board to international standards.
He appealed to Kano residents to compliment government’s efforts, by inculcating good moral upbringing on their children, and reporting any suspected person or character to relevant authorities, as the board would not relent in it’s efforts of sanitizing Kano free of all forms of vices.
