Governor Nasiru El Rufa’i of Kaduna State has commended the Nigerian Airforce-NAF for the restoration of relative peace in the State.

In a statement by NAF Spokesperson, Air Commodore Wap Maigida says the Governor made the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao in Abuja.

According to the Governor, there have been significant improvement in the security situation of the State in past three months, as several terrorists’ commanders have been neutralised, while remnants have relocated from the State.

Responding, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao thanked the Governor for the visit, and assured that the NAF would continue to do its best to make the country safe and secured in line with constitutional responsibilities.

Air Marshal Amao attributed the numerous successes recorded in the fight against insurgency and terrorism to the overwhelming support of President Muhammadu Buhari.
